In Pakistan and Bangladesh, corporate Purchase Power Agreements (PPAs) are currently not available. A proactive sourcing strategy will be employed to secure enough Energy Attributable Certificates to help Telenor Asia stay on the planned decarbonisation trajectory of 50% emissions reduction by 2030.
In parallel, we continue to actively advocate for local policy frameworks that enable the availability of corporate PPAs in these markets.
