Scope 3

Scope 3: Cutting emissions from our supply chain

Over 80% of Telenor Group’s emissions are Scope 3 emissions, defined as all other indirect emissions from Telenor Group’s supply chain.

Scope 3 emissions have different categories, and includes both upstream emissions from our suppliers, and downstream emissions from the use of our products and services.

Telenor Group’s biggest emissions contributors are from purchased goods and services (Category 1), capital goods (Category 2) and our investments (Category 15).

In Asia, we will support our joint ventures, CelcomDigi and True Corporation, on setting their own science-based targets by 2025.
